The hike to the top of Diamond Head this morning was not as hard as I thought it might be! It started off as a concrete path through the park and then soon turned into a very uneven rock and dirt path. I had to watch my every step because it would have been real.

Greetings from Hawaii! I got here dead-tired last night after an 8-hour flight from Minneapolis. I started the day with a brisk walk on Waikiki beach to hopefully shed some of the 2 ½ pounds I gained on the plane. I swear I just have to look at food to gain weight. It’s a beautiful.

Maintaining Weight While Traveling

As of this morning I am 4.9 pounds away from my goal weight. Over the last year and a few months, I’ve worked hard and have lost 24 pounds. But . . . my two-week trip to Hawaii (with a weekend tour immediately following) is coming up soon, and I don’t want to gain back.
