I received an email this week about the tours for my upcoming trip to Bali. I am getting very excited to go now! This will be a totally different culture/experience than any other trip I’ve taken.

The tours I signed up for include:

1.       Horseback riding on the beach

2.       The Elephant Safari Park where I can ride and feed the elephants and also watch them paint! I’ve heard of this before. It should be really interesting to watch!

3.       A half day tour to the Monkey Forest, where monkeys are just hanging around – sometimes jumping up on your shoulders! And to the temple sanctuary of Tanah Lot at sunset which will be very pretty.

4.       Mountain biking – a downhill ride through villages

5.       A day cruise to Lembongan Island

6.       A day cruise to Nusa Penida Island

I am looking into what kind of adapter/converter I will need for my electronics (it would be nice if the whole world used the same kind!)

I checked the weather for the average temperature in June/July. It is around 90 degrees, so the water activities on the two island tours will be nice.

I’ll be staying in Bali for nine nights and I’ll be doing the above six tours, but also want to do one of the bike tours from the hotel which goes into a nearby village. And with other things going on at the hotel, I expect to be pretty busy. I will for sure have to have some down time to enjoy the beach and beautiful pools!
