Travel and food definitely go hand in hand, and recently I found http://www.internationalcuisine.com/. Blog owner, Darlene, cooks – and gets to eat – one fabulous meal from a new country each week. She then posts the recipe, beautiful photographs of each course, and also a bit about each country on her blog.

She is cooking her way in alphabetical order, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, and is currently working on Italy – one of my favorite countries, and of course favorite food.

Darlene’s goal is to “gain a better understanding of the world’s people and culture through their cuisine and share what is learned.”

In looking at the posts, I found a few island countries with recipes that I am anxious to make! Check out her recipes and photos and give one a try!
