Today was a tour day with Valley Tours. I took 32 people on a lunch cruise on the Mississippi River, and then to a show on the Minnesota Centennial Showboat – a docked paddlewheeler theatre. The day was beautiful, the lunch not bad (the desserts were excellent!), and it was an enjoyable cruise on the Anson Northrup.

Steven Marking presents a one-man show about our mighty Mississippi River. Steve entertained us with songs, stories, pictures, and videos of his experiences on the Mississippi. It was a very interesting show about the wildlife on the Mississippi and some tales of his growing up years on the river.
