One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go to Minneapolis to the food trucks for lunch. Today I had my sights on The Smack Shack truck for a lobster roll. Located in the Marquette Avenue area, a dozen or more food trucks park during lunch time and sell food. New legislation was passed in 2011 to allow the trucks to park at city meters on designated streets. The lobster roll was a bit pricey, but hey, its lobster – it doesn’t exactly swim in the waters around here! The regular roll was $16.00 and the king roll was $24.00. Next time I will try another favorite of mine – the lobster mac and cheese.
