I will be leaving the Shem Creek Inn today and heading back up to Myrtle Beach for my last two nights. I really love the Shem Creek Inn – nice rooms, a great pool, and of course it over looks the creek. It’s in a perfect, central location for getting to Charleston and also out to the beaches. There are also fantastic restaurants right here within short walking distance. Last night I ate at Red’s Ice House on the other side of the creek. I had the Lowcountry Shrimp Boil, and it was good, but I had it in Fort Myers Beach last December and preferred their version.
