Broadway at the Beach

Breakfast – Crab Cakes Benedict – a walk on the beach and I was ready to start my day. My destination was Broadway at the Beach, a huge outdoor shopping, restaurant, and theatre complex. As you can tell by the map in the featured photo, it is quite large.

I walked the whole complex stopping in shops every now and then. There were a lot of boardwalks and man-made ponds filled with fish. There were also fish food machines here and there. See the photo below of the fish – they were just waiting to be fed! I’ve never seen so many (or probably any) fish with their heads out of the water and mouths open just waiting for food!

After shopping I got lazy and decided just to take it easy for the rest of the day. Brought my book to the pool and plopped down on a lounge chair for awhile this afternoon. After another walk on the beach I had an early dinner and now have to think about getting packed up to go home tomorrow . . .
