European Trip – France

I hadn’t started my travel blog yet when I went to Europe in the spring of 2013 so I thought I would post some of my favorite photos from that trip.

It was my first trip “over the pond” and I wasn’t sure how that flight was going to go. I usually start getting fidgety after about 3 hours in the air. Luckily, the seat next to me was empty and I was able to get somewhat comfortable and stretch out a bit. It was an overnight flight so I tried to sleep. Not a whole lot of success there, but the night eventually turned to morning and we were landing in Nice, France.

After a few hours on a motorcoach, we were in Avignon, France. I was dead tired, but way too excited to sleep! After checking in to the hotel, and getting thoroughly aggravated by the unfamiliar plug ins for my computer and curling iron, I went out to check things out.

An example of some of the interesting doors I found - this one in Avignon.

My lunch companion's anti pasta salad. I had pizza, and found it to be actually better in France than Italy.

There were many well behaved, unleashed dogs in France. This one carrying his own "doggy bag."
