My day started at the Milwaukee Public Market. While not a large market, it was filled with a lot of quality stuff – fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, and seafood, jarred salsas and jams, and chocolates and desserts (see photo of the parfait that I had). Madison, WI

I made a stop for dinner in Madison, Wisconsin on the way out to Milwaukee. The Parthenon restaurant features authentic Greek gyros with lamb, tomatoes, onions, and a cucumber sauce. Very good and plenty filling (see photo – it was huge!). After dinner I wandered along State Street where the Madison Street Festival was going.
