Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grill is located water side just before the Matanzas Pass Bridge which takes you to Fort Myers Beach (Estero Island), Florida. I stopped in for an appetizer and some conch chowder recently and was treated with excellent service, a beautiful view, and some really good food. New York Times best.

I Moved to Florida!

Earlier this month my dreams became a reality when I moved to Fort Myers, Florida! I am working remotely and this will allow me to spend 7 months a year in Florida and 5 in Minnesota and traveling. I’ve only been here a month, but have tried to pack in as much as I could!.

In all of the 33 years I’ve been coming to Fort Myers, Florida I’ve never done some of the things I’ve done this week. I spent part of a day in the country and went horseback riding. My horse, Leah was a sweetie, but she didn’t want to stop too much for photos. The trail.
