I guess today was preparing me for Island Time . . . . The security line at the airport was incredibly slow . . . Once we got to LA the hotel shuttle was slow . . . the waitress at the restaurant was slow . . .  But hey, it’s in the 60s and there is no snow here, so I am not complaining.

I would like to report on Spirit Airlines because this was my first time flying with them. For the considerably lower price than Delta, I thought Spirit was a great deal. They charge for the extras, but then you’re only paying for what you need. They charged for soft drinks, but I ate at the airport and brought a bottle of water on the plane with me, so that was not a big deal. The rows of seats seemed just a bit closer together than other airlines, but for the few hour flight that was not a big deal either. I can see racking up a bunch of air miles on Spirit!

Tomorrow we will be checked out of the hotel and on the go all day and then back to the airport. I will try to post again while waiting for the flight to Tahiti tomorrow night. Otherwise I’ll be back Saturday afternoon from Tahiti with photos!
