About: Dianne

My love of travel started in the sixth grade when I visited the ocean for the first time. After that there was no looking back. Over the years I've traveled at every opportunity, and in 2009 I started working for Valley Tours in Stillwater, MN as a tour director. I have much experience traveling myself, leading groups, and travel/tour planning. My desire going forward is to help people to see the world - to travel to places they've only dreamed about!

The internet package that I purchased will end a little later this afternoon. If I can post more photos later I will, but I’m going kayaking and paddleboarding now. Check out is tomorrow – already! It has gone so fast, but so worth it. Everywhere I look is gorgeous scenery! Overnight flight tomorrow night back.

Took the water taxi into the town of Vaitape this morning. It was definitely the most beautiful taxi ride I’ve ever taken! The town isn’t very big, so we had lunch (a really good pizza), and walked around and looked in the shops a bit. Everything here is very expensive, even the little trinket-type souvenirs.

I’ve never seen so many colorful fish snorkeling before! They were all around me, but hardly any of them even touched me. Very.

I woke up this morning and realized I’m not 49 anymore! This is a bit disconcerting, but I guess I will get used to it. Today is the Motu Picnic. Should be very cool. It will be lunch grilled over an open fire on a remote island. Tonight is the hotel’s Tahitian buffet and show. Not.

Today has been a lazy day – hammocks and lounge chairs by the pool. I did start the day off with laps off my bungalow deck though. 7:00 in the morning and the air and water temp were beautiful! Today is my last day to be in my 40’s. Bummer . . .  .
