The San Diego Zoo is said to be the best zoo in the United States. I was impressed with the different kinds of animals and happy to see that their habitats were adequate and in many cases, really nice – lots of greenery and water falls and that type of thing.

I didn’t get to see everything, but I did see what I wanted to – the pandas and koala bears. Panda bears in the wild spend about 14 hours a day finding and eating 25-30 pounds of bamboo. There are only 2900 pandas left in the world.
