Today has been a lazy day – hammocks and lounge chairs by the pool. I did start the day off with laps off my bungalow deck though. 7:00 in the morning and the air and water temp were beautiful! Today is my last day to be in my 40’s. Bummer . . .  .

It’s gorgeous here, but I am exhausted from the overnight flight and hanging aound waiting for the room to be ready. Today we spent in and out of the rental car. Everything is close by, but it takes forever to get to because of the traffic. First we headed to Balboa Island near Newport. An absolutely charming island (known for their Balboa frozen banana on a stick), but very busy and hard to find a parking spot..
